Genuine Black and Decker replacement part, this item is sold individually. The purpose of the 90566944 Spring is to hold the spool in place on the Trimmer shown below. It is placed between the spool and the spool cover. The cover snaps into the spool housing by means of the two tabs on both sides of the cover.

The orange cap came off and a slung the string advancement parts out.
For model number ST8600 string trimmer

The level had a small A shaped spring that flew off across the yard when I was replacing the string. If I buy a lever, will it come with the spring? The trimmer feeds continuously. 8>(

Will this spoil housing be compatible with my Gh900. Mine is missing the lever.
