My machine washer cycle stopped check connection no water going in.but I can restart cycle it will wash but quits and msg said check waterline

Washer makes a loud screeching noise when it starts up and sometimes when it goes into the spin cycle. Wondering if it's belt. If so which belt would I need to replace? Would like to have it when we investigate the issue incase it needs replaced.

there seems tto be a gap inside my washer now between the top and the drum about 3-4 inches that was never there before and now my washer makes a squealing noise at start up and during spin cycle. could it be a belt or the suspension?

Hello Paul, Thank you for your inquiry. We show that there is a drain pump filter between the basket and outer tub assembly part# PS16660526, and a noise filter in the top of the cabinet, part# PS16744969. We hope this helps.
Pushed in on door strike and rotated it counterclockwise, removed broken strike and installed new strike. NOTE: when removing the old strike (turning counterclockwise) it felt like it might break and/or was attached with an screw that I didn't see but it came right out.
