It's check the water inlet, I've been disconnecting the hose the water runs freely, then reconnect, it runs and then get the same signal
For model number WTW5100HC2
Hello Marvin, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, we would recommend checking the water hose for any clogging. If the hose is clear, then the issue is most probably with the water inlet valve, part number PS12348013. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Our washer has a code F9E1 - check that your drain is clear. We have che ked everything, hose and drain and nothing is plugged. We restart the cycle and it doesnt drain still. Could this be the pump not pushing water out or a sensor?
For model number WTW5100HC2
Hi Michelle, thanks for the great question. There is a filter inside your washer that needs to be cleaned and sometimes replaced. The tub-to-pump hose should also be checked for obstructions. If these parts are clean, then the most likely cause is your drain pump. If you would like assistance placing an order, please contact Customer Service. Good luck with your repair!

Getting error code F8E1 no water flow detected . Could this be a malfunctioning water inlet valve ?
For model number WTW5100HC2
Hi Jeffrey, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the issue could be with the water inlet valve, part number PS12348013, as the F8 E1 error code means the washer is not detecting the correct amount of incoming water. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!

My washer is making a very loud noise when spinning. It’s not really shaking or banging and it’s not a grinding noise. Everything functions normally other than the fact that it’s really loud.
For model number WTW5100HC2
Hello Marcus, thank you for contacting us. If your washer is making a loud noise during the spin cycle, the issue is with the bearing. A worn-out or damaged bearing could cause loud noises. The drum bearings for your model come built into the gearcase assembly, part number PS16730207. Replace it to fix the issue. We hope this information helps!

Noise, grinding sounds. Wash tub stopped turning but motor and cycles kept functioning. Process of elimination, must be the clutch assembly.
Easy, just followed the repair video. Recommend also ordering the drive belt. Bought one locally during my repair.

Tab on door strike got broken off and washer would not operate without it.
Pushed in on door strike and rotated it counterclockwise, removed broken strike and installed new strike. NOTE: when removing the old strike (turning counterclockwise) it felt like it might break and/or was attached with an screw that I didn't see but it came right out.
