Returned home from vacation and the pump was running continuously. It only stops if the start/pause button is held or the basket is manually turned. Then it eventually comes back on. I am having trouble determining which part is needed.

Hi Marc, Thank you for your question. If the washer drain pump is running constantly, the drain hose is too far down in the stand pipe and it is creating a siphoning effect. The drain hose should only go 5 inches down in the standpipe. If it is too far down in the standpipe remove it and reposition it. If this is not the issue, check the water level pressure switch. The sensor monitors how much water is in the tub and transmits signals to the electronic control board about the amount of water inside the tub. If it is malfunctioning, it will cause the drain pump to run continuously. To verify if the issue is with the water level switch or hose, you will need to check them. Before inspecting these parts, unplug your washer from the electrical outlet. Before suspecting the switch as the issue, inspect the water level pressure hose by submerging it in water, sealing one end and blowing in the other, no bubbles should come out of the hose during this test. Additionally, you should inspect it for any signs of wear or damage. You will need to remove your appliance’s cabinet to access the hose. Remove the water level switch to inspect it for any signs of wear, burning, cracking, or damage. If the hose is not damaged, or if your switch shows any of the symptoms above, you will need to replace the water level switch. We hope this helps!

Noise, grinding sounds. Wash tub stopped turning but motor and cycles kept functioning. Process of elimination, must be the clutch assembly.
Easy, just followed the repair video. Recommend also ordering the drive belt. Bought one locally during my repair.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
