My freezer freezes up about every 3 weeks and I defrost it and it'll make the ice maker machine will make ice but the dispenser will not grind the ice to put the ice out when it starts to defrost and get warmer the ice machine will stop making ice but then the dispenser will start grinding the ice and then the refrigerator will get too warm in the freezer will get too warm and I'll have to defrost the entire thing again.

Hello DiVante, thank you for your inquiry. This sounds like a Defrost System Failure. We recommend replacing the Defrost Heater PS11740459 and Refrigerator Temperature Sensor PS11753996. You may also consider testing the Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Motor Wire Harness and Thermal Fuse Assembly PS16555334. We hope this helps.
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
I was clening my uprght freezer and noticed that it was preped for an icemaker. I first went to the Whilpool website and could not find my part as my freezer was a 2008 model.
I saw PartSelect on the search page and went to thier site. I put in my modle number of the Whilpool Ice maker kit that was on the back of my freeze
... Read morer. PartSelect had the part in stock and approx $18.00 less than the other kits listed on the Whilpool site (that did not match my kit number). I orderd the kit on Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday. It took less than and hour to install. Every part I needed was included. The following day I installed the water line and now I have an extra icemaker.
I used a flat screwdriver and released the lock tab on the bottom of the light switch, and pried the switch out, being careful to not damage the plastic around the mounting place of the switch, unplugged wiring from old switch, plugged in the new one and pushed the new switch into place. Job finished light switch now working.
