Door handle broke off
First I removed the top screws, then I slide it off the lower screw that is hidden behind the handle. I replaced the handle by sliding it onto the bottem first then attaching it onto the top with the two top screws.

evaporator coil kept freezing up, refridgerator warm.
This was the second part I tried. The defrost timer was first, but that did not fix it. To do this I had to remove the ice maker and the back plate of the freezer. Then I defrosted the coil and cut the wires. stripped them back and installed the new thermostat. re-assembled and tested. has been working great ever since.

Broke a blade off of the fan
When cleaning the coils on your refrigerator always remember rule number 1, unplug it first. I was cleaning the coils and hit the fan blade while it was moving with a brush, thus breaking off one of the fan blades. I ordered a new fan and installed it in about 15 minutes. Very easy repair.

I pulled the refridgerator door open and the handle snapped off.
This repair was very easy and took less than five minutes. I used the same screws that were on the fridge to put the handle in place. All I needed was a screwdriver. I would also like to add that when I ordered this part it was shipped the same exact day and I received it the next day. It was incredibly fast and I will use them again in the future. I recommend this company to those who need to replace or repair a part. Thanks PartSelect!

Brand new refrigerator, but evaporator fan blade broken, causing considerable vibration and noise.
Really, really, really easy:
1.Unplug refrigerator (electrical safety).
2.Remove cardboard cover at bottom of refrigerator (two short self-tapping bolts) with a wrench.
3.Pull old fan blade off fan motor shaft (just held on by a compression fitting--no tools needed).
4.Push new fan blade on shaft.
5. Replace cardboard cover.
6. Plug in refrigerator, write nasty letter to Frigidaire.

Replaced the heater-core motor
It was fairly easy. Only had to remove the back cardboard. Remove 3 screws and the power plug.
Replacing the screws took a little time the motor mount didn't seem to be tapped exactly for the screws supplied and it was in a tight area. Its working great now.

Broken Fan Blade
Pull refrigerator away from wall, being careful not to kink or break water line to ice maker, unplug refrigerator. Using 1/4" nutdriver, remove cardboard lower rear panel, bottom lifts out. Fan and motor are now directly in front of you, grasp the moter to stablize it, and using your other hand, pull fan hub from motor shaft. Be sure motor shaft is clean before reinstalling new fan blade, press new bladr onto motor shaft, until center of blade is centered on outlet side of fan housing. spin blade by hand to insure clearance. Plug refrigerator in and observe operation of fan, refrigerator needs to be calling for cooling for this fan to operate. Reinstall cardboard panel and move refrigerator back into position.

Broken meat tray support rail
Pull out the shelf and remove the one screw that holds the support rail in place. Remove broken rail, slip in the new one, then replace the screw. Done!
It takes longer to remove items from shelf and clean it than it does to replace the part.

The ends broke from the rails.
I unscrewed the old rails and took the number to order on the first day. The order came on the 3rd day. Can you imagine such fast service.
My daughter is a single mom with 4 children, one of whom was responsible for the breakage. I am the grandmother and was very grateful for the fast service and great price. The drawer was installed in 10 minutes. I just screwed the old screw into the new part and replaced the drawer. Thanks

I broke the fan while cleaning the coil
The broken fan made my refrigerator sound like a lawn mower I pulled the refrigerator out of it's nook and disconnected the power, removed the back panel with my battery powered drill motor, slid the old fan off of motor shaft, slid the new fan back on ran it to make sure the problem was corrected. The entire repair took less than fifteen minutes and was as simple as it could be. Please be careful when cleaning your coil, as the fan is easily damaged if you should contact it.
