Does this model have a filter that needs cleaning? I can't find a removal filter.

This morning, when we push any one of the 3 wash cycle buttons, the red light above that selected push button and the red light above "Heated Dry" light up and nothing else happens. No water enters the dishwasher. All circuit breakers are closed and water is available at the kitchen sink (next to the dishwasher). After a few minutes of nothing happening, you can hear "Click - Click" exactly every 60 seconds. And at 13 minutes of nothing happening, the "Clean" and "Rinse Only" red lights flash in unison every second.

Hello Charles, thank you for getting in touch. Check the door switch, part number PS11747659. Ensure the dishwasher door is closed very firmly. Open and close it again with force to ensure the internal micro-switch engages properly. A faulty door latch switch is a common cause of a dishwasher not starting or filling with water. The "pegs" that hold the dishes in place on the upper and lower dish racks are rusting and falling off. I need to replace both the upper and lower dish racks. Are they available and what is the cost?

Water came out the door in large amount and has not been leaking. Is it a bad solenoid valve

Hello Melvin, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Water Inlet Valve. Use your multitester to test the valve for continuity. Set the device to the ohms setting x 1. Touch each of the meter's probes to a terminal. If you receive a reading of infinity, it means the valve's solenoid is faulty and the valve needs to be replaced. If your valve has two solenoids (four terminals), test the second pair of terminals in the same manner. If either pair of terminals receives a result of infinity, replace the water inlet valve. Took out about 7 torx screws to remove the inner door liner. Discovered evidence of leak coming from the sop dispenser latch, and noticed the grommet had turned soft and was torn. The grommet is only about 1" square. Used nut driver to remove two screws to remove latch assembly. Slipped old grommet off and put new one on, and reattached t
... Read morehe latch. The foam seal at the bottom of the door looked worn, so we replaced it with weatherstripping from home improvement store. The main door seal was brittle, so we replaced it too - just grab an end and pull the old one out. The new one was installed by starting at one end and we just pushed it in place. We used a nut-driver to push it in - we were afraid a screwdriver might damage it. The new door seal required us to latch the door to get it to stay closed the fist couple of days, but now it has loosened up a bit and works as expected. And NO MORE LEAKS. Cost is much less than a new unit!
I opened the end stop of the rack, replaced the roller, and put the end stop back on. I can't believe I paid the repairman the last time $125????? An he put in a regular screw that rusted and broke the roller. Took me 3 minutes! Thanks
