I removed the old shelf and disassembled all the parts, removing glass shelf, bins, doors, etc. for use with the new shelf frame. Unfortunately, I hadn't been able to find all the roller assemblies from the original shelf and didn't realize that they were not considered part of the shelf frame. So, after reassembling all the pieces that I had, I still needed to order one additional roller assembly and specialty screw. Knowing this up front would have saved me a nice chunk of time and additional shipping charges. Otherwise, the repair was pretty straightforward.

No installation instructions. I just took everything out of the shelf holding the drawers and figured it out myself. Unfortunately today's products are made with cheap brittle plastic. This is the second time I have ordered parts for this refrigerator from you and I am glad you are so efficient and shipped orders quickly.

Removed the support bar from the warped frame, which had 3 screws, then reattached the bar to the new frame. The criper drawer front lids was a simple snap in.

Real Easy

At first, ordered only a latch only to discover the mounting strip had instead failed. Ordering parts wasn't difficult although the parts catalog graphic leaves a lot to desire. Once I figured out how to remove the strip (had to remove the seal first and no instructions existed), it was easy to snap out the old and snap in the new part. This sure beat the cost of paying a repairman. However I fear than most homeowners that aren't mechanically inclined wouldnt have been successful because of no instructions and the parts catalog that had poor detail and a very small size.

The online list of parts for this appliance was printed very small and was very intimidatingly busy. Calling the Help Center proved to be our saving grace!! The woman at the Help Center was awesome. Together, we figured what pieces I needed and they arrived within 36 hours; I was extremely impressed. The replacement parts did not include the accessories but we had the needed rollers and metal support bar from the original pieces and installed them readily on the new pieces. All went well and we are happy to have a functioning shelf and vegetable drawers again. I cannot stress enough how content we are and how thrilled I am with the personal service I received on the telephone.

The part labeled as water tank was not pictured on web site, and when it arrived it was a large coil of plastic tubing wire-tied in an oval shape,not a blown p/e tank as original.The oval of tubing would not fit into the door compartment, because of the bulk of the actuating solenoid. No instructions were included. It was necessary to hacksaw the steel solenoid mounting bracket off the solenoid, then contort the solenoid into the compartment to get all parts inside the cover. new connectors had to be purchased, because the the tank/tubing coil was 1/4" od, while the original tank had 5/16"od connections.

First, just let me say how delighted that the parts were so easy to order and affordable. Most of it was fairly straight forward but I should have taken pictures how things were put together prior to dis-assembly. There is a shelve that has humidifier panels and I still have not gotten them in right (I will try again after vacation). I strongly suggest you take pictures of items rather than relying on memory as the parts do not come with instructions.

While cleaning out the frig we removed the bottom shelf to remove the glass and really scrub it down. When we went to put it back in, my wife grabbed the crisper door front and snapped it offf. I immediately went to the computer to find a replacement part and found PartSelect.com. I plugged in the model number and I immediately saw a diagram to pick out my part. I had it ordered before she got all the food back in the frig! The part arrived early and I installed it in a matter of seconds. So easy to find the part, order it and install.
