LGHT1837LP8 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

I can't believe I put if off so long... so easy to do and PartSelect was very fast, efficient, and the cheapest vendor for my part.

I emptied freezer side of unit, turned unit off, rolled unit away from wall, unplugged unit, turned ice maker water supply off, and took out the ice maker. I then took out old light and replaced it with new light. I then plugged in the unit, turned on the water supply, rolled the unit back in place, placed the ice maker back in the unit and turned the unit back on.
After two hours I placed the frozen items back in the freezer.

I took out the plate that covers the evaporator in the freezer with 3/8 nut driver. I removed the clips holding on the fan cover and used the pliers to take the fan off the old motor. I then took the old motor out, affixed the fan to the new motor and replaced the motor and fan assembly. I reassembled the entire fan assembly and reinstalled the evaporator plate

Turned off water to inlet valve. Unbolted valve from back of unit, disconnect water supply line from valve, disconnected water line to ice maker. Put on new compression ring around water supply line. Pressed ice maker line into new valve, installed valve back on unit, then connected main supply line to valve. Works like a charm.

Can't supply any info that would be helpful. Ordered a " badge" that covered 100% of the scratch and stuck it on. Scratch now covered and problem solved. Thanks for asking.

Snapped it in shelf in designated slots

The knob came in the plastic package. It was the correct part. I opened the package and placed the knob on the prongs. Now it works fine.

First I watched the video that provided - extremely helpful - thank you- when the part arrived I removed the drawer and shelf - unscrewed the screw- pushed the slide catches to one side and removed - then I screwed new slide on - pushed to lock in the catches and DONE! Remove and toss broken parts, clean, replace.

Took off the old one, replace the new one in less than 5 minutes

pull off the old gasket and push on the new one into the channel...

followed installation video on your website which was very helpful. Very easy repair. The packing material was great.

Removed drawer. Removed shelve. Flipped shelve over. Removed one screw. Undid tab on each end. Removed bad rail. Replaced with new rail and reversed order. Easy fix.
