LFHT2131QP1 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

followed installation video on your website which was very helpful. Very easy repair. The packing material was great.

Required a trip to the hardware store. Online research showed that Gorilla Glue would hold gasket in place and was recommended for that task. Needed to glue each side separately to keep the spline in the groove. Took far longer than it should have!

Pulled off the old seal and put the new one on. No tools needed. It fit where it was supposed to and seals the door like new now! Thank you!

The part i recieved, from parts select was a larger in circumfrence (<1/4) than the original. However i was not aware of this until after i treid to repair it.

I removed the broken fan from the condenser. This was very sipmle.

When i pluged the refridgerator back in to the outlet the fan tried to start up but soon began to make aloud noise, due to there not being enough clerance.

Just snapped into place

It was soooo easy. I simply clicked the shelf in place! Thank you so much for all of your help. I love this website!

i live in Manhattan and it is so difficult to go and find a repair store that has the things you need for the specific model number. i went online and found partselect.com they had a very nice and easy search engine and gave me all the parts that goes with my fridge i just gave them my model number. i placed my order and got it 2 days after.. the shipment fee was 6 dollar i saved the taxi money going and coming i might have had even had to go to multiple store before i can find my part.

Snapped new one in.

The parts snapped right into place. Exactly what I ordered, which was so easy with the Partselect.com web site. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend to all.

well, the retainer broke off, so I waited for the new part to come, and when it came, all I had to do was put it on. putting it on took like a second. there were two hooks that the shelf hooked on, so it was really easy.

Replacing was to slide the shelf in on their stubs. My comment about the refrigerator shelfs is they are not made to last. You open the door and one end at the opening side would break. I check to see if it was hanging up however it has plenty of room.

Snapped it in shelf in designated slots

I used Gorilla glue to replace the handle at the screws-pressed hard and left to dry. The replacement handle (s),( had to buy two-guess the manufacturerer expects the other one to crack too!) are hanging in the garage until the glue releases, if it does. NEVER had a refrigerator handle crack before and I am 81 yrs old. Product made to be defective as this is the second repair I've had to have on this refrig., other one a just under 1 year and concerned the freezer dripping water. The refrig is within 2 yrs. Yikes!
