KFDD500ESS12 Whirlpool Range - Instructions

Removed all terminals and block mounting screws. Repaired one burnt terminal and reassembled. Replacement part was an exact fit and reassembly whnet very well.

cleaned the hole and inserted glue, then the rubber feet.

I didn't. Don't know how to get to light bulb to change it for this specific model

Took the old levelling leg out and screw the new one in.

Pulled the old knob off, pushed the new one on.

pull oven, remove back pannel and unplug and remove high limit switch. Repair was the reverse of removal.

Simply remove two screws take old one off and line up and put new one on and replace the two screws. Couldn't have been easier.

Used needle nose pliers to remove flat spring steel piece which holds
knob onto spindle. Pushed replacement knob onto spindle - perfect fit.

Used Silicone Rubber to "glue" them. It's heat resistant unlike super glue which is why 8 of them fell off. I only found 6 of them and had to order replacements.

I had a service guy come in and he told me the repair would be $550.00. I asked for a part list and did it myself. You guys saved me hundreds of dollars.

Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.

Very easy. Take out the screws with the supplied wrenches and install new chrome. 5 minute job.

Put the back of stove on blocks of wood to get high enough to screw the new leg in.

very expensive to buy the part but just tighten the screw intot eh predefined place.
