repalced bulb.
The instructions from another customer was helpful. I concur with another comment I read while researching this proceedure. What Idio-- would design a microwave that required pulling the unit from the wall and removing the top panel just to access. It is good idea to unplug the transformer and capacitor wires before proceeding. I also googled a schematic to see the parts layout. Remember not to touch the bulb with your fingers. Use a cloth or paper towel.

broiler element broke into
There were 4 screws to remove and 2 wires to disconnect. We placed the order on line for replacement. It arrived the next day. We simply installed the new element by connecting the 2 wires (very easy) and putting the 4 screws back in place. It works like new and was sooo easy.

Broiler element not working
Removed back of oven. Disconnected 2 connectors on each side of element. Removed screws that were too rusted to use screwdriver with vise grips. Removed old element, inserted new element through holes in rear of oven.Installed 1 screw on each side of element in rear and 2 screws in front where brackets support the front of the element.Put back panel back on. Push oven back in place, plug back in outlet. It works great and I didn't have to pay service man.

Smaller broiler coil stopped working.
Our double-oven is wall-mounted, so accessing the backside to change the wires (as shown in the instruction video) was not a practical do-it-yourself option. After turning off the circuit breaker and disconnecting the broken broiler element, it is pretty easy to pull the four connection wires through the backside of the oven, which allowed us to disconnect the slide clips. We attached twist-ties to each clip/wire before disconnecting to keep the clips/wires from pulling back behind the oven wall when moving the new element into position. We found it necessary to crimp a few clips onto the new element to make secure connections, but the rest of the project went pretty much as shown in the video and the new element works great.

Bad Bake Element
The existing bake element was charred and in pieces so could not be pulled out. We destructively disassembled the range and pulled out the pieces along with the melted insulation. The wall behind was also scorched.

The mounting bracket broke!!
Initially I called kitchenaid and the representative suggested I call one of thier designated repair guys to come out for 120.00. Fortunately, I got the part number and model and found it on this website. It was so easy to replace!! Just fit it in the designated opening and twist it until secure. So glad I did not call out the repair man!!

This is a small halogen light bulb for the microwave. This is the third time it has had to be replaced.
This is the third time that the bulb went out.It took two Sears service technitions to remove the entire appliance out of the cabinet. The entire top has to be removed and the insolation has to be pulled back to get to the electrical wire. I am waiting for an appointment to get Sears to do it again. The door springs have broken and you have to make sure the door is closed before walking away. It has a heavy glass and the weight is pretty heavy. Robert.

Center broiler element burned out
Removed oven door for easy access. Removed 4 phillip head screws that held broiler element from top of oven. pulled wires a couple of inches out from back of oven and used flat screw driver to help separate the wires connecting the broiler from the oven. Did the opposite to install the new element,.

The original microwave turntable was cracked.
The replacement turntable we received was an exact duplicate of the original. It was as easy as rinsing the new turntable, taking the old turntable out and putting the new one in.

Missing Part on a Scratch and Dent Microwave
We bought a really nice microwave for about 1/3rd of the MSRP, but it was an open box item and when we got it home we found that it was missing a bracket on the inside of the microwave. We were able to replace the bracket easily thanks to partselect.com.
