Dropped in new bowls. I was surprised how in-expensive new ones were.

My GE range is 20 years old, and still going strong. All I needed was to replace the 6" surface unit. After making slight adjustments, it was just a matter of placing the new unit. really easy, remove old and replace with new...easy, once you have ordered and received the correct part.

I just went to your web page and indicated I needed an 8' surface element and up popped a picture; I ordered it and plugged it in and it works perfectly. I didn't need a model number, or a part number. Three cheers for a simple solution and a 1st class web page!

I simply pulled the old surface burner out, and plugged the new one in. It took less than one minute! The amazing part of this repair, is actually that PartSelect sent the replacement surface element burner OVERNIGHT! I could not believe it, and was VERY impressed with their commitment to help their customers in time of crisis. It arrived just on time for my Thanksgiving not to become a nightmare. The new drip pans are great. I had purchased generic ones locally that were supposed to be universal. The problem was that they did not fit right and the burner coils did not sit flat. The new drip pans fit well and look great too.

The drip pans arrived and she switched them out with the old ones Easy!

I ordered new drip bowls and put them in place. They fit just fine.

replaced pans- what I would like to comment on is the time- I ordered one day at noon and had them the next day at noon- I live in tiny town on northern border of USA- it was awesome- I couldn't believe it was them- 24 hours- super job and excellent price too

Unplug heating elements and pick up drip bowels and reinstall elements.

We did the repair by following the inclosed instructions. we are elderly retired average ages 82. This was our first repair and it went very well. We are so pleased to have saved over $80.00 compared with hired labor 3 yre. ago for the same part. Thanks so much for your good service.

used my hands to remove heating element, then remove drip bowls, then install new bowls, then install heating elements, done!!!!!

Ordered new parts. Received email with tracking number. Parts arrived as promised. Turned off power at breaker (!). Removed burners and pans. Lifted the lid of the range. Inspected the plugs and discovered one had come loose from bracket and was not in straight. Reset plug in bracket. While the lid was open, placed the drip bowl in opening and installed the burner and made sure the burner was laying properly in the drip bowl. Repeat for each. Perfect fit, If done properly, the small burners should lay down flat and not rock back and forth. I have seen complaints about rocking, and experienced some of it on one burner. Make sure the heating element is set in the plug well and it should work. A little patience may be required to get it just right. Everything lays flat and the stove looks new again. I have purchased from Part Select on other projects including a dryer rebuild and a new face plate for this range. Great products, reasonable prices, wonderful tutorial videos and good service.

the original path was from the right front control knob around the back of the range and left side of range,which i dismantaled to install the new wires to the right front burner. When I found them to be to short I had to also dismantal the right side so the wires could be routed there. The new wires worked fine but did take some extra time.
