Under the microwave there are two light bulbs that light up the top of the oven/range.
Last week I removed the glass cover that was held in by one screw and removed the burnt out light bulb. I ordered the bulb and left the glass cover off until the bulb arrived. I had to wait until this evening to put the glass cover back on and fasten the screw because I have a window right next to the oven and the sun streaming in made it too difficult for me to see how to put the glass back in and replace the screw.

The bulbs burned out, the glass lens cracked and the light socket broke when trying to remove the bulb
Replaced the sockets, lens and bulbs. The first time the new bulb was touching the lens and the heat broke the lens and burnt out the bulb. The second time I adjusted the socket so that the bulb does not touch the lens.

Impressed by how quickly the parts arrived after the order was submitted. Two days.

Thank you.

The coupler shaft broke.
When you put a rectangular pan on the turntable in the microwave, the tumbler coupler stops and the steel shaft on the motor keeps going and brakes the plastic shaft on the coupler. The fix, 5 screws on the bottom of the microwave drop the cover. One screw on the motor, drops the motor, just to see the problem. Disconnect power to the motor temporarily. You really don't need to take the motor out if you know how the coupler fits on the motor shaft. Put the motor back and drop in a new coupler from inside the micro, and it is done. Put the cover back on and you are set to go. Then don't put a non-rotating pan on a rotating turntable. A $5 part and $7 shipping is a lot better than a new microwave.

Right hand surface lamp burned out. It apparently fald up and broke the glass cover. I wne on line when I found out the only local deaaler was some miles away and more expensive.
Simple. The parts came instantly. The glass was too big so I had it cut to size. I unscrewed the fixture with a screw driver replaced the bulb and slipped the glass cover into the frame and screwed the whole assembly in.
