The rinse cycle begins normally with the drain pump discharging water, but then remains stuck in drain mode and does not advance to spin. What should I check next?
For model number GLTF1670AS0
Hello Kevin, thank you for getting in touch. Your washer may be facing this issue because of the faulty timer. The timer controls most of the operations of the washer: water level, tub filling and emptying, length of cycles, and cycle setting sequences. We recommend you replace the timer, part number PS419227, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Broken Door Catch
This was one of the simpliest repairs I have ever done taking less than 5 minutes to complete. On the inner door I removed the two screws that hold the plastic catch in place. I then removed the broken catch and put the new catch in place. Finally I replaced the two screws that hold the catch in place and it was done.
