Had a power failure last night while dishwasher was running. Indicator lights not working. Held Start button for 5 seconds, nothing happened. Turned breaker off for over 30 minutes, nothing happened. What is the next step?

Hello Tom, Thank you for the question. During a Power failure it can cause a surge to the User Control and Display Board and damage the board. If resetting the appliance the User Control and Display Board may need to be replaced. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

I was told i needed to replace the pump for my GE dishwasher.
And that the part I needed was WD49X23782. But it doesn’t look exactly like the one I took off.

Hello Jackie, thank you for the question. The drain pump you mentioned does not fit your model. The drain pump kit compatible with your model is part number PS16219695. It removes the water from the dishwasher tub during the drain phase of the dishwashing cycle. We hope that helps!

Leaking from around the heating elements. I have tried to tighten the nuts, but it is still leaking. Please advise if there is replacement seals or how to fix leak.

These seals are included in the Dishwasher Heating Element Assembly. Part number PS12582671 is compatible with your model GDT695SSJ2SS. We hope this helps!

Dishwasher was randomly beeping when not in use. Then eventually the display wouldn’t light up.
I first tested for 120volts to my dishwasher to verify it was getting power from my electrical panel. Then tested pins 2 and 5 on the control board to make sure there was 14 volts going to the user interface harness. After I verified that I knew it was the user interface that was bad. I watched a video I found on YouTube and followed it.

Diswasher not drying dishes
Didn't actually do the compete repair but got close. Pulled out dishwasher, disconnected and checked continuity on the existing heating element (about 16 ohms) the new element was also about 16 ohms. This indicates they both were working fine and no need for replacement. Next step would have been to swap the elements would have been

simple. Tried to replace main board as well, still not the issue so giving up and replacing the dishwasher. It wasn't the high temp cut off thermostat either incidentally and no error codes in maintenance mode. Check continuity of your existing element before ordering to save aggravation.
