Dishwasher made rhythmic, thumping sound during wash cycle
This was so easy! Our 4 year-old dishwasher began making a repetitive, clunking noise during wash cycle, and I deducted that it was the spray arms. I tried to rinse out old
spray arms, checked for clogs, and made sure they were installed correctly. The sound persisted, so I ordered replacement part (wash arm kit). I removed old spray arms and attached new ones. Problem solved and dishwasher is quiet again!

User interface not receiving power and unresponsive
Remove kickplate and insulation. Pull dishwasher out from the cabinet about 1 foot. Use pliers to unhook tension chords from the door hinges at the bottom of the unit. Pull door off the hinges. Lay door flat on floor with the face down and remove the hinges using a nutdriver. In the recesses where the hinges were, remove the hex screws. Hand twist to remove the vent from the interior side. Remove the back panel of the door by sliding it parallel to the front panel to unlatch it, then lift up to remove. At the top of the inside of the door, unscrew the housing where you can see the exposed button internals. Separate the housing from the door and use a flat head screw driver or a knife to pry it apart. Replace the board and put everything back together.

Old Dishwasher Rack Was Rusted
Piece of cake! Slide old rack out, slide new one in. I wish I had known about this website sooner, would have changed this rack out 2 years ago. Yes, it’s a little different shape than the old one, and Yes, I can no longer put my silverware on the door. BIG DEAL! I would rather move a few dishes around than spend $700. on a new dishwasher. Tell your friends about this website, that will thank you.

Dishwasher not operating. Would fill, not operate, then drain.
Performed all checks on youtube...water coming in, course and fine filter cleaned, drain pump working (heard it come on and no water present and cycle end). Swapped water inlet valve bc it was the cheapest poss fix $19. No luck. Ordered circulation pump and motherboard. Swapped pump, very easy with machine out and turned on its back. Temp reinstall and ops checked good. Contacted Partselect for return slip, emailed immediately and sent thru post office.

Grate in bottom of the basket broken
Removed old basket, put in recycle bin, placed new basket in dish washer. The damage to the original basket was my fault. I now know not to drop heavy knives point down into the basket.
