I’ve been having to reset the breaker to get my dishwasher to work. I was able to run a few loads having to reset it each time. Now resetting the breaker is not working. When it was working I noticed it would beep 3 times randomly but continue washing the dishes no problem. I understand it could be a few things wrong with the dishwasher. I’m hoping to narrow down which one it most likely is

Hi Josh, thank you for getting in touch. We would recommend checking the door latch first. If it is fine, you may need to replace the main control board, part number PS12741264. It manages the functions of the dishwasher, such as washing, draining and drying. We hope this solves your problem!
MY GE dishwasher has no power. I have unplugged and plugged the wires several times and worked whem i wiggled the wiring underneath dishwasher but know it wont work at all.Any way to fix this??

Hi Barbie, thank you for reaching out. Mostly when the dishwasher does not start, it could be because of a faulty fuse, part number PS12743197. If no power is coming to the dishwasher, replace the fuse. You will also need to check the door latch, part number PS6447681. A faulty door latch could also prevent the dishwasher from turning on. My dishwasher blinks 888 error message and won’t continue a wash cycle. It starts then stops. What could be the issue?

My Breaker was only providing 80 Volts. I changed to another location in the Breaker Panel with 120 Volts. The Dishwasher ran ONE LOAD and although there was still 120 volts coming to the Dishwasher it would not run. I presume that an Internal Thermal Fuse was damaged. there is a board fuse and an AC wiring harness. Can you confirm the two part numbers I should order?

Took off the kickplate, diconnected the wires and removed the whole door by lifting straight up, removing spring wires from hinges. Once door is disconnected from the machine, removed one hinge by removing bolt. Slid gasket into place, secured hinge back in place, then reconnected wires at bottom, replaced hinge spring wires and slid d

Identify the non-functioning door latch. It looks exactly like the replacement. Unclip the wire harness from the door latch. 5.
... Read more On the inside of the dishwasher, there are 2 screws directly under the door latch. Unscrew them and carefully set aside. 6. Remove old door latch. 7. Set new door latch in place. Holding securely, replace screws removed in step 5. Toward the end they get a little tougher to screw in. 8. Plug wire harness into new door latch. 9. Re-align dishwasher and re-secure to counter in previous position. 10. Test latch to make sure it closes properly. 11. Turn on breaker in electrical panel. The dishwasher should now function properly.
