When I close the door I have no power. I’ve checked all connections and circuit breakers. Could it be the switch on top of the unit?

Hello Danny, thank you for your question. We would recommend checking the door latch, part number PS6447681. When defective it will not let the washer turn on. If this does not solve your problem, this issue is probably related to the control board, part number PS12730509. Hello Mike, Thank you for the question. After the fill cycle is complete, you can open the door a bit to see if there is a lot of steam. This will let you know the element is heating up properly. The heating element circuit can be tested at the main control as well. With the power disconnected from the unit, at connection J703 pin 1 to pin 2 there should be a reading of 23.4 ohms. The control panel will light up then turn off after 2 to 3 minutes whether door is open or closed, it also makes a chime noise for about a second when it does this. It does this off/ on thing about every 15 to 20 minutes. Unplugging doesn’t seem to help.

We suggest you check your door latch, part number PS6447681, and make sure all the wire harnesses, part number PS11766630, on the door latch are firmly connected. If the door latch and wire harness are okay, please check the user interface control board, part number PS16762512. It displays the dishwasher settings and lets you select the cycle. The dishwasher will not heat. I've cleaned the screens and the float flood but still will not heat. What is the most likely problem and how can I check it?

Hi Dean, thank you for your inquiry. We have concluded that the issue is with the heating element, part number PS16729156, which may need to be replaced. To determine if the heating element has burned out, use a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the heating element does not have continuity, you may need to replace it. We hope this helps!
Hello Anna, thank you for contacting us. One reason for your dishwasher not draining completely could be a blocked filter or blocked pump. Foreign objects, such as slivers of glass, food or dirt, can clog the dishwasher's filters and/or pump resulting in the dishwasher not draining. Clean the filter and the drain pump of your dishwasher. Check the drain hose is clear. If this does not help, you will need to replace the drain pump kit, part number PS16219695. Good luck with the repair!
Took off the kickplate, diconnected the wires and removed the whole door by lifting straight up, removing spring wires from hinges. Once door is disconnected from the machine, removed one hinge by removing bolt. Slid gasket into place, secured hinge back in place, then reconnected wires at bottom, replaced hinge spring wires and slid d

Didn't actually do the compete repair but got close. Pulled out dishwasher, disconnected and checked continuity on the existing heating element (about 16 ohms) the new element was also about 16 ohms.
