FFHT2126LS0 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

Unplug, remove 2 screws off back panel inside the freezer. Cut wires on old one and crimped in new one. Light to melt the shrink wrap that came with it. Pretty easy.

The old gasket was dirty and old and it had ripped, so the fridge would no longer close. The new gasket came in and all we had to do was push it into the groves and make sure it was secure, and it was fixed. Saved me hundreds of dollars buying a new fridge.

Very easily did the repair -- popped the new door shelf right in the place of the old one! No tools needed, no hardware, easy! The part actually measured 24 3/4 but the replacement part said "26 inches" on website & this was THE replacement part. Put this off for so long--ordered part and recd within 2 days, great!

Opened the box, snapped it in place. Took longer to just open the box! I carefully inspected the part and compared to the original. I could not tell them apart. The fit and finish is perfect. This is a very well made product. Easy to order, fast shipping, well packaged and very easy to install.

Replacement was a snap! Literally! OK there were two snaps. One on each side.

Removed the housing with the light, 4 hexhead screws. This exposed the defrost timer, removed 2 hexhead screws, electrical connector and reassembled the unit.

Old shelf was removed and the new shelf clicked right into place, an exact match, perfect fit.

I ordered four bearing hinges and drill holes for the hinges on top and bottom of frezer and fridge doors insert the bearing hinges on the holes and all the other part on the door were able to reversed.

I removed the housing at the top of the refrigerator compartment that contained the reefer light and temperature adjustment knob. This required a small nut-driver. Inside, I found the old defrost control, unplugged it, unscrewed it with a Phillips screwdriver, and replaced it with the replacement part. Then I replaced the housing to its original position.

First I removed the plastic grill (pulled out, no screws) from bottom of refrigerator, then I removed electrical plug & two screws from old timer (timer located on the front inside left lower side of refrigerator). Installed in reverse order.

Removed four screws for cover on refrigerator temperature controls, unpluged old timer and pluged in new timer. Replaced cover and screws.

removed both the shelf retainer and shelf bin, replace with the new units ordered from partselet.com. the whole process from searching, ordering, shipping and installing was very easy... thanks for everything

I can't believe I put if off so long... so easy to do and PartSelect was very fast, efficient, and the cheapest vendor for my part.

I started look inside ,disconnected power, and open all possible compartments to see any burned part. Fortunately I fined a small part look like melted and then i went online and make my research .Then i ordered that part and change it.
