There are some parts you should check as well. You should also check the water inlet valve, the micro switch, the dispenser control switch and the water filter housing. If this happens, here are some things you can do: Remove the ice bin to see if there is ice accumulation. Remove any blocked ice by carefully chipping at it with a plastic knife. If the issue still occurs, you may need to check the dispenser switch, part number PS11738948, to fix the issue. It controls dispensing of ice or water when you press the dispenser lever. Hello Randall, thank you for getting in touch. Check the freezer door gasket, part number PS323900. If the door is not sealing properly, warm air can enter the freezer causing condensation which can result in ice buildup. Check the air vents or drain hoses or defrost drain, and make sure they are not blocked or clogged. Check the defrost heater, part number PS11740459. If the heater is faulty, it will not melt the ice buildup in the ice buildup. We hope this helps.
