Heater element broken
I removed the lower front panel of the dishwasher to expose wheels and opened door and removed two screws holding washer to cabinet. After raising leveling feet pulled washer out to expose bnotton ow dishwasher. Removed the electrical wires form the heating element and removed screw caps holding the heaqting element in place. Removed the old element and inserted the new, then reversed process to get it back together. It was very easy to do following the instructions I received when I ordered the part.

Dishwasher would not drain properly due to broken impeller in the pump. Could hear and feel vibration thru pump body.
Followed the easy how-to video from PS. It was as easy as changing a light bulb.

Dishes were not drying properly
Did the repair, but needed one extra step not described in video:
I followed the directions on the PartSelect Youtube video - very helpful! I do believe the heating element was the original culprit, as it had a "burn" area about the size of a dime that caused it to almost break into two parts. Obviously a point of failure.
BUT - after replacement, it still did not solve the problem of the dishes not drying.
After much web searching, I tried the diagnostic mode on the dishwasher, and that did a hard reset of the logic board and FIXED the problem.
So in all, it required both a new heating element AND a hard reset via diagnostic mode.

Worn out door gasket
Easy to do. Less than fifteen minutes total and only tool required was a screw driver. Simply pulled out the old gasket by hand and then pressed in the new one with the screw driver. Anyone could do this.

Replacement parts from factory installed using u tube support video

Pump motor would not start
I did not get to repair my dishwasher using the part supplied by Partselect.com. I pulled my dishwasher out and found that the connector had fallen of the capacitor during installation. Happy to say that I returned the part for a full refund minus the shipping. Have bought from them before, and will again

Only one friction sleeve was broken. So I pulled out the dishwasher to see how the one on the other side went on. It was very easy to replace and I replaced both. Unit works fine now.

On the the lid of the dispenser a tiny tab that engages with a tiny bar that is supposed to hold the lid closed on the detergent until released by a solenoid at a certain time in the cycle. It allowed the lid to open prematurely.
I performed the repair exactly as shown in the online video site accessed by entering the url that came with the order. The video was correct in every aspect.
The tiny little tab on the new dispenser broke on the first use of the machine. Very weak part of the process. We will secure lid to the detergent by another means, which we had been doing for some time anyway. Can't afford another $75 plus shipping. Very weak design.

Heating element not heating for both wash and dry.
Put in both a new element and thermostat. Did not fix problem. Using an ohm meter I did not measure any voltage to the thermostat. Suspect it’s a problem in the control unit, and decided to replace dishwasher.
