heater element would not activate
first i replaced the thermal fuse ( 2 hex bolts ) with a nut driver. It didn't work ,so my worst fears confirmed I removed the heater assebly( 3 hex bolts ) for inspection. Upon inspection there was a small hair sized break in the heater element coil. I took my wire strippers and reconnected and crimped the element together making sure to keep the element free of unwanted contact with the housing. It now works great. I only wish the thermal fuse had blown b4 the element got hot enough to break.
