slide rails for drawer broke
1st I unscrewed the side rails after I removed the drawer. I saved the screws and both rails until I received the new ones. There were 2 screws in each side. 2nd I looked online at the parts select web page. The exploded diagrams were extreemly helpful. Like most people my appliance book does not have this feature. I ordered the 2 rails for the drawer on Sunday morning and the parts were here by Wednesday afternoon..very good service in my opinion. I then proceeded to replace the two side rails with the screws that I saved from dismantling them. I then put the drawer back into the refrigerator and it worked perfectly. This repair was easy and it saved me a $60.00+ dollar service call and a longer wait period to get the repair done! I will continue to use part select.com for all my appliance repair work. Thanks

Old one broke when I put too much weight on the bottom shelf and the top drawer as this bracket supports both. Bad design.

The left hand side drawer rail broke.
A very simple repair that took less than 10 minutes. About 5 of that was getting a screw driver and putting it back in the tool box. Simply remove the drawer, unscrew the two screws. Install new rail using the same two screws.

What I liked the best about PartsSelect.com was, I ordered the wrong part mistake. When I called to inquire about the refund/return of the un-used part, they were very polite and curtious. She said the return info would be in my e-mail in a minute. She even asked if I wanted her to order the correct part right then. I didnt have the model number with me at the time or I would have. A minute later I check my e-mail and there was the needed info. Excellent cutomer service PartsSelect. All my future orders, I'll check your site first.
Thanks,
Glen.

Flapper was worn and misshapen allowing warm air in freezer, ice cubes to melt and drip and impairing function of ice dispenser. Frost formed in ice dispensing chute also.
Followed the online video. Unplugged refrigerator, removed trim piece, lifted control board cover, removed 4 screws retaining circuit control board and removed the 3 connectors from the control board. Located flapper and removed by using small flat tip to take tension off flapper connectors. Helper held flash light to illuminate flapper connectors. Reversed procedure. New flapper seals well and cured problems. Circuit board was a bit different than one in video, but still had the 3 connectors. Marked each connector with grease pencil at top edge to ensure correct reconnection. Should note how wires are threaded around circuit board to ensure they are tucked back in correctly in reassembly. Remove trim piece carefully. I broke 2 of the 8 plastic pins that hold trim on. May be due to age of unit as they were brittle. 6 pins still hold trim piece flush.
