CSK22GABKAA Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

After recieving the part overnight (Very unexpected speedy delivery!) I propped the freezer side door up with a 4x4 and 2x4 and the old part came right off and the new part went right on with no hassels, Done in less than 15 min!!!!
The new part even came with step by step easy to follow directions.

removed door, removed old cracked riser aand replaced with new. You have a easy to follow parts site and very good prices. I will use you for all my future repairs.

Remove the hinge cap on top, the loosen the bolts, remove the hinge. Pick up the door from the lower hinge, lay it down and place the cam riser on the lower hinge. Replace the door, install the top hinge and check the alignment and you are done.

Supported the door on the bottom them removed the 3 screws holding hinge to door. Installed new hinge assembly. Had a litle trouble installng screw in bottom of door due to alignment issues with cam & metal piece. It finally went in when I loosened 2nd screw in bottom of door.

So easy - unscrewed old screws, replaced part, put screws back in!

The hubby couldn't believe that I finished as quickly as I did...

I removed the top hinge, lifted the door off the bottom hinge, rmoved and replaced the bottom hinge assembly, and reinstalled the door. I then aligned the door and reinstalled the upper hinge. The fridge works just like new!

While only 4 yrs old, an annoying sliding vegetable drawer would tilt to one side and NOT close well at all. After seeing the parts so easily on Parts Select...I had it fixed in under 7 minutes and it is as good as new....you can slide it without frustration

this repair was real easy. i chocked the bottom of the refrigerator door. unbolted the hinge and replaced it with new one. thats it repair complete.

I removed the freezer door. I unscrewed two screws that hold on the cam and shim. I had a cam (I ordered 2 when the other door cam broke last year) and I ordered the shim. I replaced the parts, screwed it back together and put the door back on the fridge.

I removed the top crisper drawer and the glass shelf above it. I then removed 2 screws and placed the new bracket in place and installed the 2 screws. About 5 minutes to complete.

The drawer and shelf malfunctioned from day one. After being shocked by the appliance store's denial of fault and the estimate to repair I went online and Googled the model number of my refrigerator. Lucky for me I found Parts Select. I ordered the part for a tiny fraction of the repair estimate and received the part in three days. The replacement was very simple -even for a middle aged real estate attorney. I removed the drawer and glass shelf; removed two phillips head screws; lined up the new part replaced the screws slid in the drawer and sat the glass shelf in place. Looks new, works like new. Cake walk repair.

Unload the door then close it.
Remove screw holding plastic cover over hinge on top.
Remove 2 bolts attaching the hinge on the door.
Slowly open and lift door off of bottom hinge lay on counter.
Unscrew bolt, insert new cam, tighten bolt ,set back on bottom hinge, center install top hinge, tighten and install cover. tool me 6 minutes.

I hung the new shield on the two inside pegs that were already there.

removed two screws which let me take the old part off. I then put the new part on.

Shipping was extremely fast.

I removed the damaged parts, reseated the new light shield properly, screwed in the new slide rail, then inserted the chiller drawers to finish.
