I removed the burner elements for three burners by lifting the surface top and unplugging them. I snapped out the plug sockets that were burned out and cut the two wires, one element at a time. Using the included wire nuts I stripped the ends of the cut wire and connected each wire to one of the wires on the new socket. Once the wires were connected I snapped the sockets in place and reinstalled the elements, lowered the surface top and the range was ready to use.

Pulled out electric heating element and replaced with new. I have had this frustrating problem for 2 years and after replacing the elements they now work like new! My only question, why did it take me so long to replace???

Our old Jenn-air cooktop was at least 28 years old.They looked bad.We didn't see the need to buy a whole cooktop when the rest of the stove, fan,etc. still worked great. So I got on the Partselect web site and found a black radiant cartridge. It came exactly the day the said it would. I took out the old coil cartridge and plugged the new one. Lo, my stove now looks modern. We also ordered a terminal block. With this my husband repaired the old burned out coil burner and in about 20 minutes I had a spare to use with my canner. I really like the new cartridge and plan to buy another one. It was a pleasure to do business with Partselect.

small and no Maytag dealers. So, I ordered on line two drip bowls and saved one"just in case"

Removed screws by drilling one and using a pliers to remove 2nd one. At first did not have enough wire to pull recepticles out until I relized wires were clipped to back of range to hold in place. Unclipped wires, pulled recepticles out, cut wires and attached new recepticles by connecting wires with wire nuts (I think wire nuts were to small so I used my own a size larger). Another problem that I found was that the recepticles on my range were held in place only by the screws that attached the recepticles to the drip pan flang. I had to bend an L bracket to prop under each recepticle to hold the back of it up so the burner element would sit level over the drip pan.

After buying a 'universal' part at Lowe's and it not fitting correctly and shorting out the burner, I went online and found this source for an exact replacement part. Beside having to disassemble the drop in stove burner two or three times it went well when I had the correct part. I lost one screw somewhere and that delayed me a short time to find a replacement. Thus the 1 to 2 hours. It would have been about a 30 minute job if I had been smarter.

I found that the one of the burner Cartridge terminal blocks wiring was too short for my Jenn-Air JED8130. The original ones I removed had wiring that was 4" longer than the replacements. As a result, I could only replace 1 terminal block and had to re-use one of the old ones for the front 6" burner. The surface elements and drop bowls were easy and accurate.

Remove heat coils, take body of coil inserts out, remove screws from body, cut old receptacle out, tie new recptacle wires to the old piece of left over wires using wire nuts, and reassemble body, insert heating coils and test.

10 Minutes for a stove my landlord thought was not fixable (repairman had already cut the wires to the element and capped them)! The delivery person handed me the package, I got out the single tool needed, installed the part, put away the tool, cleaned my hands, and put a pot of water on the stove to boil for pasta. 10 minutes!

Starting by me making a substitute prong to keep the stove working while the part this coming by mail. was a piece of cake.

The video on your website showed me how to take out 1 screw, cut the existing wires and strip the ends. The kit came with 2 porcelan wire nuts to re-connect the wires and it was done. Less than 10 minutes. It saved me $100.00 to get it repaired.I bought 2 in case I need another one in the future.They only cost $11.00 each. Awesome website.
