12AVB26M011 Troy-Bilt Lawn Mower - Instructions
Keep searches simple. Use keywords, e.g. "leaking", "pump", "broken" or "fit".
Although the Original deck was rusted and collapsing , the mower was extremely reliable.
Anyone attempting this probably doesn’t need my tutorial but I would add this: closely inspect, clean and repair or replace any hardware as needed. You’ll be glad you did.

My mower deck rotted out.
I purchased a new deck and it was a perfect fit thanks to the woman that I spoke with on the phone. And the price was great along with the shipping. Thanks for everything.

Not the exact fit
I had to drill and tap the ends of the axle and put a 1/4” bolt in to fasten the wheels. The hubs were not the same. They fastened differently.

The treads on the front drive wheels were worn down to the point that they provided little traction.
Removed a single nut on each end of the drive shaft with the appropriate socket. Wheels then slipped off. Cleaned/polished the shaft with fine sandpaper, lubed with silicone spray, slid on the wheels and reinstalled the nuts with the same socket. Wheels were an exact fit and OEM quality. Done in 15 minutes start to finish.
