Dryer Inner Door Glass
PartSelect Number PS11742543
Manufacturer Part Number WP4449259
This inner door glass is a heat resistant part that fits into a stove, oven, wall oven, cooktop, or range as the inner glass panel of the appliance door. The glass panel allows you to see the items being cooked or heated in the appliance. Handle with caution and be sure to use gloves, as the door is heavy and the glass is breakable. Do not replace the glass until the appliance is cool to the touch. This genuine manufacturer part is approximately 20 inches by 10 inches. The inner glass door is sold individually and contains the glass panel only.

Broke the glass panel inside the oven door -- dropped a baking dish on the glass!
Easily removed the door from the oven by releasing clips attached to the door hinge -- very nicely engineered. Removed about 6 philips head screws to allow the door assembly to be taken apart for access to the glass. Lifted out the broken glass, cleaned the inside of the door, installed the new glass, reassembled the door (a two minute project), and reattached the door to the oven. Cleaning the inside of the door took longer than the actual repair!

The sensor would not slide into grill
Initially, i watched the how to do it instruction in the fix website to determine the complexity of repairs. The instruction built up my confidence. I ordered and recieved the grill amd the two new sensors. I placed the two new sensors into the new grill sensor slots. Then removed the old grill by unscrewing three screws. Connected the two sensors positioned the grill and screwed in the three screws put the lent stray in the grill and closed the dyer door. I have been a happy camper ever since. I saved the $75 home insurance fee plus maintenence installment. Thanks

Dryer Outer Door Window
PartSelect Number PS2349411
Manufacturer Part Number 137067900
This outer door window, or outer lens, is found in your front-loading washer or dryer. Mounted to the door, it provides visibility and allows you to monitor the washing or drying process. It also acts as a barrier so that water or lint does not escape from the drum while the appliance is running. Signs of a broken outer door window include shattered areas, fogginess, or steam and water leakage from the door. To remove the window, refer to your user guide for instructions. Typically, you will need to open the dryer door, remove the hinge screws and lift the door upward to slide the "T" post on the hinge out of its slot. Then, unthread the screws on the inner door and near the metal strike and hinge center. You can then separate the inner door assembly from the outer door and lift out the inner door glass. Before making your purchase, bear in mind that this genuine OEM replacement part is sold separately from the rest of the door assembly.

Original door was broken. It had to be replaced.
Replacement door came with hinges. Removed four Phillips head screws, removed original door, and replaced it with the new door. Because I needed to move the dryer to allow room to get to the screws, I needed about 15 minutes to complete the project.

Dryer Window
-put tape on glass so it would not fall on me as I dissembled door.
-removed and disassembled door by removing all screws/ torx.
-used shop vac to get most of the shards out then flushed with water for the rest.
-used shop vac to dry door.
-put back together. remember to put big bulge of glass down. the rounded part of the door is the bottom. do not over tighten as the screws go into plastic.
-all skill levels can do this job. it will only go together one way. the glass has a notch bulge that alines with the bracket. worst case is you have to put it together 3 times before you get it right. the door is reversible so it can open either to the right or the left giving you four combinations on how to install the glass. don't over tighten the phillips as they go into plastic. Go for it. Read more...
