Typically located on the inner door, it covers the detergent dispenser assembly. When loading the dishwasher, you lift the cover to add rinse aid before running a cycle. If the detergent dispenser cover is broken, you may notice visible cracks, chips, or it may not stay in place properly. If left unreplaced, it can result in detergent leakage during the wash cycle. To remove the cover, first, turn off the power and water supply. Open the dishwasher door and gently insert a flathead screwdriver between the dispenser body and the cover, prying it off.
