Positioned inside the dust bowl, you will know it is time for a replacement when the pre-filter appears visibly dirty or clogged, leading to reduced suction power and airflow. To remove the pre-filter, simply press the dust bowl release button on the handle, detach the dust bowl, and take out the filter from within. When installing the new pre-filter, securely attach it to the filter before placing it back into the dust bowl.
