This is a door switch designed for use within Samsung refrigerators. This door switch is designed to turn the interior lights of the fridge off and communicate to the control board when the door is closed, so it can resume cooling. If your fridge is not properly cooling or the interior light stays on after it is closed, or if this switch is simply damaged, it must be replaced. This approximately 1.5-inch-long switch is made of black and white plastic and features a single terminal connection that connects to a wire harness from the control board. This switch is a genuine OEM part that is sold individually, so if you need more than one, consider that before ordering. Replacing this switch will require a Philips-head and flat-head screwdriver, and keep in mind it does not come with any other parts or accessories.
