Replacing the stove switches that were no longer regulating the burner.
The new switches were multi-brand switches. Had to break off the stems to the correct height but the stems were made for that. The plastic barrel fitting that came with the switch (6 to choose from depending on the type of knob you have) had to be spun on a drill and sanded so that they would fit inside the taller nut sleeve. That was the only trouble.

Wall Oven Range Surface Burner Knob

This part is sold individually. The surface burner knob is black and chrome in color. It measures approximately 1-1/2 inches in diameter. The surface burner knob is for ranges and allows you to control the temperature of the surface burner. If your knob has broken or gone missing it will need to be replaced. This repair requires no tools to complete. You simply remove the old knob by pulling it off and press the new knob into place by lining it up with the shaft. This is an OEM genuine part.

scissors and opened bag. determined that all three knobs were identical. aligned slots on each knob with flanges on each shaft. snapped each knob into place.

Heating element for oven broke in two.
Removed the two screws holding the heating element to the back of the oven. Pulled the wires away from the connections of the old element and connected the new element. Reinstalled the screws holding the element to the back of the oven. Easiest repair I've ever done! Replaced the drip pans on the cook top and installed the new clock knobs. Good as new!
