This plastic upper tube on your blower helps to control the airflow for more precise directing of leaves and debris. It connects the main body to the lower tube. You can identify a broken upper tube through visible damage or a loose fit. If not replaced, it will result in less focused airflow, making debris blowing less effective. To remove the upper tube, depress the lock button and slide it off the housing neck, along with the lower tube. Installing a new tube is as simple as snapping it into place.
