I have an older pop machine and it will not come on I has able to tap the motor and it came on for a minute but went back off. If I replace this part should it come back on?
For model number FMR14
Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for your inquiry. This part could be the problem. I would also suggest testing your run capacitor to see if that part has malfunctioned at all. You can test both of these parts with a multi-meter to check them. Good luck with your repair.
10 years old. Refrig is freezing everything in refrigerator. This is not a freezer unit. It either freezes or stays about 50 f even though thermostat setting is on 1. Normally had thermostat set to 3.
For model number FRU17G4JW10
Hi Brian,
Thank you for your inquiry. Where the refrigerator is too cold you will need to check the temperature control and the defrost thermostat to verify which part is causing the issue. To test the parts, you will need a multimeter. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My refrigerator part will only shut off if I set it at 1. If it is set at 3 or 4 it seems to run all the time. Question is it the thermostat or the seal?
