I just ordered parts select part # ps966886 (temp sensor) for my GE monogram bev center fridge b/c the temp in the unit is 51 degrees. Where does this replacement part go inside the unit? The diagram shows on the upper interior right side but I can't find an access panel.

Hi Mike, Thank you for the question. There should be a small cover on the upper wall of the fresh food section. The sensor will be under the cover. Hope this helps!

Hello, do you have step-by-step instructions to replace the temp sensor? I want to ensure that i am able to undertake this repair before i start.Thanks very much for your assistance!

Hello and thank you for writing.
There should be a small compartment at the left inside of your unit, open the cover and you will see the temperature sensor, you now only have to unhook the old one and replace it with the new one. Please make sure to unplug the unit before this repair. We do not have a video for this repair but if you go to youtube and search for the temperature sensor and your model number you will find excellent help videos for this repair. We hope this helps.
