Needed to replace the bent blades on my riding mower.
- Made the mower safe to work on the blades (remove spark plug wires, etc.)
- Raised the mower to get access to the blades, wedged a wood block against the blade.
- Used impact driver with socket to remove bolt holding blade.
- Removed blade, replaced with new, replaced bolt and tightened with impact drive

will this part work on my Husqvarna LTH1542. 42"deck. Do the blades need to be changed from mulching to a stronger exhaust.

Hello Jim, thank you for your question. While the baggers manufactured for Craftsman are interchangeable with Husqvarna machines, the parts that fit Husqvarna vary according to the deck size. A Husqvarna with a 48-inch deck requires a bagger manufactured to fit tractors or mowers with the same size deck. Yes, part 960730004 will fit. The Hi Lift Blade 532138971 is the best for baggers.
