This intake gasket is designed for use with various lawn and garden equipment models and is sold as an individual part. This intake gasket is used to create a tight seal for the intake manifold and engine block or cylinder head. Constructed of a composite material, this intake gasket, over time and through extended exposure to high temperatures, compression, pressure, and simple age, can wear out and need to be replaced. When the intake gasket is worn out or damaged, it means less of a seal for the engine, resulting in air escaping and engine misfires, coupled with general performance issues.
