Key: 1/8 X 1/2 X-43-1-S

This woodruff key, also known as a half-moon key due to its shape, is compatible with several different makes and models of small engine lawn equipment and is sold as an individual part. This key measures 1/2-inch in length and 1/8-inch in diameter and is made of high-quality metal. If you find excessive or strange noises, vibration, or loss of performance when starting your equipment, the key may be damaged and responsible. This key aligns the flywheel, camshaft and cam gear, all of which are used to maintain momentum and drive the engine, and this woodruff key plays an important role in that. You will need a wrench and/or screwdriver to replace the key, but you must first disconnect the spark plug. Gain access to the key by removing the flywheel nut and flywheel, then remove the key and clean the keyway, before installing the new key and the rest of the assembly.
