This is an authentic OEM part for use with Troy-Bilt, Yard Man, MTD, Bolens and Ryobi Trimmers. The spool assembly includes the spool and line. It fits inside the cutting head to cut grass and weeds. The most common reason for replacing the spool assembly is if the reel/spool is out of line, the reel is damaged or worn and the line is not feeding.
