Will this part work as a extension. Is there a cable or shft inside

Thank you for your question. The flex shaft would be sold separately. The part number for the flex shaft is PS9030716. The upper drive shaft kit includes a new upper shaft, a new bearing, a new bearing retainer, a new bearing spacer, and a new bearing cap. We hope this helps!
The plastic coupler that joins the upper shsft with the lower shaft is torn and does allow the lower cable to spin the head. Does the uppershaft kit come with the flex shaft and coupler attached?
