This is an original part from Husqvarna for use with Chainsaws. The hand guard protects your hand from the bar and chain and engages the chain brake if the hand-guard moves forward. The most common reasons for replacing the hand-guard is if the chain brake is not engaging, cannot reset the chain brake (by pulling back the guard), the guard is not engaging the chain brake, the hand-guard is cracked, damaged, or improperly aligned. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the hand guard is a chain adjustment tool (Scrench); or a ratchet/socket/wrench set, flat-blade screwdriver, long-handled screwdriver, Phillip\\\'s driver and Torx drivers.
