Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This GE VALVE CONTROL Assembly serves as a crucial component in gas ranges. It precisely manages the gas supply for both the bake and broil burners, ensuring your cooking experience is smooth and consistent. Furthermore, this assembly keeps the inbound gas pressure at a secure and steady level, adding an extra layer of safety to your appliance. As this assembly may feature multiple sections, we recommend referring to your parts diagram for a detailed view of the included components. Do remember to unplug your range and turn off the gas connection before commencing with the part installation process. To protect yourself, consider wearing work gloves during the process.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Oven is igniting with the knob in the OFF position ????
For model number RGB530DET4WW
Hello Michael, thank you for the question. According to our research, the issue is probably with the clogged ignition system. Food scraps and even grease can sometimes wedge themselves into these systems and cause the stove to continuously click. We recommend cleaning the ignition system. If the issue remains, we suggest checking the igniter switch and harness assembly, part number PS1481074, by using a multimeter on each of the stove switches. If this is fine, you may need to replace the spark module, part number PS2339789. We hope this helps, good luck with the repair!
