Dishwasher Tripping Device 00166630

The spring which is attached to the cover of the soap dispenser snapped into two pieces. This kit provides a replacement spring which is very easy to install between the sliding cover and the tripping device. We left the old tripping device in place, so it was not necessary to take apart the large door. There are good YouTube videos for more background info about how to remove/replace the cover, but the full procedure is not needed to just replace the spring. I was able to replace the cover without any tools at all. The kit + shipping/handling is pricey, but delivery was fast. Maybe someday we will need to replace the tripping arm.

This part was shipped in a plastic bag and in shipping was lost due to a heavy item being placed on top of the bag. I reported it lost in shipping and ordered another item. The second item was shipped in a box and was received in good condition. Installation was easy and now the appliance works as new. Thanks
