Ice bin and crusher. I lost my ice bin , the crusher is inserted into the bin . Is this one part available?

Hello Sean, thank you for getting in touch. The ice bucket and ice crusher are available as a single assembly. You need to replace the ice bucket and motor kit, part number PS8690729. It comes with the auger motor assembly. We hope that helps!

Will this part correct the issue of not dispersing water or ice?

The ice maker makes ice, the ice is delivered to the chute but the ice is not released from the chute, it stays in the chute. What part is necessary to fix this?

Hello Jay, Thank you for the question. I would suggest checking the door or flapper, Part Number: PS8768049. If the flapper does not open it will not allow the ice through. It can become warped with time. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Pieces of the plastic assembly are breaking off and dispensing with the ice. There is danger of these pieces being swallowed. Is buying the entire assembly the only option to fix this?

My freezer is making ice but when I press to dispense, there is no sound like usual and no ice (cubes or crushed) will come out. Water works fine.

The auger motor for your model does not come separately, and it comes as a part of the ice bucket assembly, part number PS8690729. We would recommend checking it to solve the problem. Following up from my last question: My freezer is making ice but when I press to dispense, there is no sound like usual and no ice will com out. Water works fine.
You suggested I order a new auger motor PS8690729. Part received and installed but did not fix the problem. All is the same with new part. Do you have any additional solutions?

Hello Michele, thanks again for reaching out. Is the icemaker dumping the ice into the bin? If not, the icemaker assembly (PS12583184) may need to be replaced as either the ejector arms or the heater to release the cubes is not working. If the icemaker is dumping into the the bin, but not dispensing out the door and you have already replaced the Ice Bucket and Motor kit, we recommend inspecting the dispenser door (PS8768049), door motor (PS6447771) and the spring (PS7320352) for any signs of damage or stretching in the spring.
