Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This freezer evaporator fan motor and felt assembly is essential for maintaining consistent cooling throughout your refrigerator’s freezer and fresh food compartments. It circulates cold air over the evaporator coils to prevent frost buildup and includes a felt seal that minimizes vibration and noise for quieter operation. Designed for efficiency and reliability, this assembly helps restore proper airflow and resolve issues such as warm spots, inadequate freezing, or unusual noises. Installation is straightforward—disconnect power, remove the old assembly, and secure the new one in place.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Freezer fan not working, what could be the cause?
For model number CYE22TSHESS
Hello Peter, thank you for contacting us. We believe your refrigerator might be having this problem because of a faulty evaporator fan motor, part number PS12727431. We would suggest checking the evaporator motor for continuity using a multimeter. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Icemaker would not dump, from door. replaced icemaker, and ice is in there, but not dumping. Bottom freezer not cold, despite temp set. When we used to close the bottom freezer door, it used to click, like it locked, but no more and notice each time i open the freezer, back fan is not on.
For model number pye22ksklss
Hi Mark, thank you for reaching out. To solve the issue of ice not dispensing from the door, you may need to check the duct door motor, part number PS6447771, as it is the most likely cause of this issue. If the fan in the freezer is not working, you may need to replace the evaporator fan motor, part number PS12727431. We hope this helps!
the top part of my refrigerator does not feel cold.
For model number GFE28HMHDES
Hi Roberto, thank you for contacting us. We have researched and found that the issue is with the temperature sensor, part number PS304103. The temperature sensor senses the temperature inside the refrigerator and sends information to the electronic control. We would recommend checking the sensor to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
