If you are having trouble opening your drawer easily or it has been damaged/broken, replacing the rear drawer glide could be the solution. The glide attaches to the rear of the oven drawer and supports the sides of the drawer. This allows the drawer to slide in and out of range without difficulty. Only one tool is needed for this repair, a flat blade screw driver. Make sure to unplug the oven and wear gloves before repair to protect hands in case range is not cooled before repairing. This an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Broken right side parts for lower over storage drawer.
Sat on floor, pulled drawer out, inserted new clips, remounted door, stood up, high-fives myself.
Part of one of the glides was still inside the hole so had to use a screwdriver to push it on out and simply put the new glides in both rear holes "very easily". Sure am glad I found this site on line. If anything else goes wrong, I will surely contact this site. Thanks. The speedy service was wonderful too. Got it in two days! Caro

broken drawer slide clips
Easy peasy! Took all of 2 minutes to replace all four clips. Clips snap in by hand and take a little bit of force to make them seat correctly. These are a frequently-replaced item,so that makes me think they are somewhat fragile. Great prices and quick shipping from PartSelect made this so simple. The local appliance parts dealer wanted $

had to take the drawer completely apart to get to the handle screws. assembled the handle with the help of a male neighbor because of getting the screws in. they turned hard put the drawer back together. wasn't sure how to get the rear guide in or out. broke one trying, finally got it.
The plastic piece broke and I had to replace it to hold the drawer in place
Snapped in the plastic piece after I actually ordered the right piece....wasn't paying enough attention when ordering and didn't have a book that showed the image so I could make sure....went off the image on your website......which is awesome. Totally my fault. Thank you for your wonderful service.

When you turn stove off the pre heat light stays on and won't go off
For model number MEF352BGWD
Hi Joe,
Thank you for your question. If the preheat light remains on once the stove has been turned off, the issue may be with the oven sensor. The oven temperature sensor is the part that monitors the oven temperature and signals the electronic control board to turn the elements on and off. Before removing this part from the oven and testing it with a multimeter for continuity, unplug the oven from the electrical outlet. A normal reading should be 1100 ohms, but as readings vary from model to model, you will need to reference your owner’s manual to determine what the correct reading should be. To test it for continuity, use a multimeter on the Rx1 setting and touch the terminals with the probes. This test needs to be done with the sensor at room temperature to produce accurate results. If your test results do not meet the manufacturer’s guidelines, you need a replacement temperature sensor. If the sensor is fine, you will then need to check the elements, the electronic control board and the wiring between the parts to see which one is causing the issue. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
