door shelves were broken from use

simply replaced the pieces directly. It was very easy.
The different parts are easily deciphered and reassembled.

I ordered the parts to replace broken ones, and they arrived.

There were no directions. Everything was self-evident. It was actually impossible to screw up, although the parts did not exactly snap together immediately. A bit of juggling and a bit of careful force (you don't want to break the plastic) was needed, but I prevailed!

Shelves we're missing the bars to hold foods

Assembled the bar and ends, then slide into slots on door. Cross bars have tabs to lock in place. These tabs may need a little effort to get started.

Missing a few pieces

We still have to "cut to fit" the retainer bar. I still have to put in the right side drawer support rail for the meat drawer, which was the straw that broke the camel's back and made me order all our missing parts. all 3 refrigerator door retainer bar were broken

I had to cut the replacement bars to the correct length. But everything else was easy. The quality of the repacement bars is much better than the originals. Thanks!

Shelf holders were broken along with end caps

The repairs were easy. The braces and end caps went together fairly easy. The freezer brace needed to be cut to fit but was easily done. 15-30 minutes was all that was needed.

End caps were broken/missing on refrigerator

I installed new end caps brackets with bars by putting them in place. Now the refrigerator looks new again. These parts were installed in the door, which was broken/missing. This prevented a person from being able to store anything in the refrigerstor door until it was fixed.

Does the refrigerator door bar part # ps429820 fit the end caps part #s ps429667 and ps429668. I am looking to replace 2 shelf bars/end caps in our Electrolux refrigerator model # frt17b3aw2 thanks

Hello Connie, thank you for writing. There are different End Caps depending on what location the Bar is going on. Is the Bar you are replacing going on the freezer or fresh food door? If it is the fresh food door, is it the middle one or either the top or bottom? The middle fresh food door Bar uses part PS429833 and PS429834. The rest of the Bars on the refrigerator use parts PS429668 and PS429667. We hope this helps.

You only show a "cut to fit" retainer bar for the shelves for the FRT18B4A frig. The video shows that there are notches on the end to clip on the end pieces. How does this work on a "cut to fit " part as the end may get shortened too much to fit properly on the end piece or maybe even cut off completely? The "pic" for this part also shows only one set of notches.

Hi Ping, thank you for contacting us. The end pieces are used to attach the retainer bar, part number PS429820, to the inside of the door. The end caps are removable and are also available to be sold separately. These end caps fit the cut-to-fit retainer bar. The end cap slides in the retainer bar. We hope this information helps!
