Did not work as the part is differant than the one I took off.
I am a unhappy customer. When I started the repair on our stove I at once noticed that the part I took of the stove and the part I received were very differant. I at that time I called Customer service and questioned the differance. She was not very helpful and her only suggestion was to try the new touch pad, I ask her if I did that would I still be able to return the part and she said yes. I tried it and it did not fix the problem, so I took it off and put the backing back on as good a I could. I then read the return policy on electric parts and was made aware if the part was rejected by who ever it would not be returned to me so I would be out of the part and the $ 90.00 some dollars I paid for shipping and the part. I have gone over this already in another review, and have not received a reply for parts select. I have not called as I mentioned customer service has been no help and led me in the wrong direction. I have pictures of the two ribbons' and can send them to you if I had a phone # to do so.

Touch pad does not respond. Unable to depress command buttons. Have tried to reset by shutting poser and the unit is not locked.

We recently had our #5 button and kitchen timer button stop working on our touchpad, is this a common issue and does replacing the touchpad only fix the problem?

Display reads code se, tried to reset and powered it of, still flashes then goes into the se code

First one number on the keypad quit working. Recently, most of them quit working. Now we are getting a SE message. I have tried turning the power off for 5 minutes, but the message is the same. Does this sound like the keypad or are there more extensive problems?

I own a Samsung oven. I keep getting a 5E error message. Is it called a keypad or a sensor panel?

Hello Colleen, thank you for writing. The failure often occurs due to buttons sunken after pressing the membrane sensor which contacts the other membrane even after the slightest vibration. Before repairing the sensor panel you need to unstick it from the unit. We hope this helps.

The touch screen on my stove has buttons that no longer work. Most do but some do not. The overlay appears to have electronics in it. Is that what I need? Looked at the parts diagram and I see nothing behind the overlay with buttons.
