What is the difference between splash shield part #154289801 and splash shield part #154798401? My dishwasher never had these splash shields so should I add them?

Hi Curtis, Thank you for the question. The Splash Shield 154289801 is for the nut around the element and the 154798401 if for the soap dispenser. If you do not have them, I suggest ordering them and installing them. Hope this helps!

My rinse aid dispenser cap fell off during the wash cycle & melted. I need to get a replacement. Can not find one on your site. Can you please tell me the part number I need to purchase? Thank you.

If you wish to replace the cap with the Grey one, you will need to order and replace the Full Soap Dispenser. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Dishwasher was leaking out of small gold nut
The nut was split down one side, so I first tried to sauder the nut back together. Saudering never goes well for me anyway, but I couldn't get a good enough seal around the nut to make it fit tightly. Then I had to cut off the clear plastic shield to get down in there, just before realizing you could just pull the white wire firmly and it would come loose from the nut. All I had to do then was unscrew the original nut, and screw on the new nut. Then, luckily I had mistakenly ordered an extra clear plastic shield and could replace the one I had previously cut. Dishwasher now runs like a charm!
