The timer knob on my dryer broke off
When the part was delivered I opened the box and unwrapped the knob from the protective paper. I walked down the whole length of my hallway to the laundry room and carefully approached the dryer. when the timer dryer knob kept turning around I knew something was amiss. Pulled the knob off and saw that it was cracked.
After pulling up the Frigidaire site on internet, there was a video as to how to replace the knob. Very simple to replace. Ordered it and the turn-around time was very fast.

I am looking for a knob on my model #fer231as1... it is item #21 in your control panel diagram. I see the pic on your website of the knob, which is what I need but can you tell me if this part comes with the little metal insert thing on the back side of the knob that connects to the dryer??

The timer for this Frigidaire washer model stops working when it reaches the spin cycle. I see the timer is kind of a sealed unit. Can it be repaired or do i need to replace it?

Hi Tony,
Thank you for your question. You would need to replace it. However you may also want to check your lid switch to make sure that it is still working. If your lid switch is not working then when your appliance gets to your spin cycle, it will stop because it thinks that the lid is opened and that is a safety hazard. I hope that helps.
